One of Wake Forest’s oldest traditions is its annual Moravian Lovefeast. You are invited to gather at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church in the main sanctuary to watch the live stream of the Lovefeast from Wait Chapel and participate simultaneously with the campus community.
Celebrate the holiday season by sharing in this special Wake Forest tradition together! Moravian buns, beeswax candles, and coffee will be provided to all guests who register before November 30. Alumni, parents, and friends of Wake Forest are all welcome. RSVP by November 30.
Pro Humanitate at Lovefeast: This year, WAKEHouston is incorporating a community engagement & service project into the local lovefeast experience. Please join us as we collect items on site to support Casa de Esperanza and the communities they serve in greater Houston.
Casa de Esperanza provides safety, hope, and a home to children whose families are affected by domestic violence, substance abuse, poverty, homelessness and mental illness. Casa de Esperanza de los Ninos strives to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect for at-risk infants, children and their families by providing comprehensive residential and family support programs that transform people and communities.
The item wishlist includes: Diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6), large and extra large pull ups, wipes, and gift cards to Target or Walmart foster parents to buy presents for children.
Thank you for considering this year's Pro Humanitate project as you make plans to attend Lovefeast in Houston.
