Houston Deacs! We will be gathering at Pitch 25 in East Downtown for lunch and drinks after our PHD Food Bank shift, and we hope you will join us! Pitch 25 is a family-friendly bar with 100+ beers on tap and an indoor soccer field.
For alumni, parents and families who are not able to volunteer at the food bank earlier in the day, you can still show the world that #GoodWearsBlack by bringing items to help fight food insecurity in Houston. Sign up here if you are only able to join us for the social gathering / supply drive. Be sure to bring resealable sandwich bags or paper lunch bags for Kids' Meals, a nonprofit that delivers free healthy meals to the doorsteps of Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children.
